11) China launched the Zhongxing-26 satellite at a cost of $333 million.

The Zhongxing-26 satellite was launched on a Long March 3B rocket.

The main objective of this satellite is to provide broadband connectivity for aviation and shipping related operations.

12) Biswa Bhusan Harichandan took oath as the ninth governor of Chhattisgarh at a function in the Raj Bhawan in capital Raipur.

Chhattisgarh High Court Chief Justice Arup Kumar Goswami administered the oath of office and secrecy to Harichandan.

13) SS Rajamouli’s directorial, ‘RRR’ has bagged the “Best International Film, Best action film, and the honorary HCA Spotlight” award at the 6th Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Film Awards.

14) India has been ranked 42nd out of 55 countries in the latest International Intellectual Property Index report.

The annual International Intellectual Property (IP) Index evaluates the protection of IP rights in 55 of the world’s leading economies, together representing around 90% of global GDP.

15) The Kerala government launched robotic scavenger, Bandicoot, to clean sewages in this temple town, becoming the first state in the country to use robotic technology to clean all its commissioned manholes.
